My first episode of "According To Jim" was the original Halloween show, "Unruly Spirits". I had seen the commerical playing and immediatly thought Billi was adorable. So I decided to watch the episode that week and I've been a fan ever since. The site itself came about not long after that. I started out taking screencaps from the show for fun. I had recently bought the capture device and... well, I was a kid with a new toy. What can I say? I had fun with it, but soon found my computer was getting a little over crowded. So I figured why not put the caps online.

The site started out as simply that; a small screencap site and a way of giving my C:Drive some much needed relief from the mess of images. I had never really planned on making it what it is today. That just sort of happened over time. As the years passed, the site began to grow. Now seven years after its original launch, its become quite a large resource for fans of Billi and ATJ. Looking at it now, I can honestly say I'm proud of what seven years of work can accomplish.

I had made websites prior to this one. Some I considered to be very nice; others looking back I feel I should've done better. But none have come close to this one. The seven years that I've worked on this project is the largest amount of time I've ever invested into a site. Thus the end result looks far better than those sites I've done in the past. Though I had some experience with sites before, this is without a doubt the one I am most proud of.

In the beginning, the site opened on the free web host Tripod where it made its home up until 2007. With the premiere of ATJ's sixth season, however, the site moved to its current location at Awardspace. With the new host, I was able to have something I'd never had before; a completely ad-free website. The banners and pop-ups were gone for good, thus giving the site a more professional appearance. As a webmaster and a perfectionist, I was quite pleased to finally be rid of all the irritating advertisements.
